Want to contact a girl from my past. Good or bad idea?

Summary for brevity:

I went to Finland 4 years ago

Met loads of people there, became friends with a Polish girl who I really liked (Anita)

Couldn't pursue it because I ended up seeing another girl there, one of Anita's friends

I never got Anita's email address or number.

She's on facebook. For some stupid reason I've been thinking about her a lot. She was a cool girl and I hugely enjoyed her company and authentic personality.

I don't want to join facebook. But I want her email or MSN address. Maybe I should create a temporary facebook, get her to add me, and then tell her I'm just came across her facebook and adding some contacts to my email or MSN.

Good or bad idea?
I'd love to hear from her.
The problem is it's been so fckin long... years, she might think it's weird. And I really don't want my ex (Anita's friend) to hear.

Its only as weird as you make it.

there is alot of girls in the world, but if your heart tells you that contacting her again is right, then do it.

If you add her on facebook her friend WILL know about adding her on facebook.

The whole system shares everything that everyone does on there with all of their friends, that's the entire idea of the website, keeping people completely up to date.

So i suggest not going down that route.

its never a bad idea to talk to girls from your past. I don't see how that could even be possible.

If you want to resume contact, which you do, otherwise you wouldn't be asking, then do it.

lol just fuck around with the contacts. you got nothing to lose ;)

i always talk to ppl form the past that i dont really know and flirt. its just a fun experience.
