All Darren Browns books are quality for body language and cold reading, also books on Mentalism such as Practical Mental Magic by Theodore Annemann, cover all of the above and put it in a practical sence, which i found easyer to understand and test.

There are gazillions of books out there. It all depends on the type of game you want to explore.

Body Language: The Definitive Book of Body Language - Allan Pease
Opening: Mystery Method, Silver Bullets, Gunwich Method,
Balls to do it: Power of Now, David DeAngelo's DYD

...etc.

I noticed when i was reading "the game" that mystery used a lot of magic and illusions to help break the ice and captivate the HB..
does anybody else use this or do they rely more on there conversation abilities??

Yea mate ive only just started using tricks while out sarging. I first started practicing on my flat mates then friends and now i will use them while im out. I would stay away from card tricks realy as it looks like its pre prepared. Ill use little things like tricks with money and little things like making things appear to open a set with a bang. The book i reccomended you earlyer has alot of good stuff in it!

Regards, Saint

body language is best learnt infield tbh, you can read as many books as you like but it is more how you subconsciously interpret it that does you good rather than analysing and staying in your head. As for balls punch yourself in the nuts, hurts right? then you have balls go out and use them.

Shit, we have a Derren Brown book back home, should have read it before I went off to uni. Anyway can agree that Allan and Barbara Pease's book on body language is excellent and aside from being helpful in pick up its fascinating anyway.
