Basically my cousin came up to me and she was talking to me. Then her BF came up and started amog'ing me. Obviously I wasnt trying to pick anyone up, but he made me lose face in front of several people. My cousin was like "this is "name". I asked him where he was in college and he said some place and then my cousin started laughing and was like "no he is in (whatever other college). basically he tried to make a fool out of me by lying to me and making people who knew he was lying laugh. Then he cut in on me in the queue and i couldnt really say anything cos he was with my cousin.

What can i do in situations like these?

Take back and stop worrying about what your cousin thinks. I wouldn't care one bit if a friend of my family members started AMOG'ing me, I would just let them get a run for their money.

AMOGs really throw my game off a lot too. My game is top notch when I'm in a female-only set, but If I'm in a set with the at least one douchebag guy, I'm not nearly as effective.

I have been getting slowly better at this though. Mostly by using a wing. If you approach a set with with one or 2 AMOGs in it, your wing can lay down some coverfire for you to at least run a little game on the girls.

So my wing and I were at at concert, and he opened up this all-girl 3-set. He's working the set well, then all of a sudden this guy, who apparently knew the girls, and was completely drunk, came over and started busting my wing's balls. I made a V-line to the set and totally cut off and interrupted the AMOG with "holy shit! you're that guy from the party 2 weeks ago that did that ridiculous keg stand, what was it like over a minute?" He was forced to acknowledge me, and claim it wasn't him. But no drunkass caveman AMOG like this could resist telling me about his own keg stand skills. Gave my buddy 5 minutes, which he number closed on, and we left on a false time constraint. I've found that making "friends" with the AMOG was a good way to enter the set and start conversation anyways.

I'm like you, and I need to work on my AMOG solo defense, but maybe that wing strategy will work for you to some extent.
