Heres the background. Got a female friend whos old enough to be my mum, we are just friends and chat to her about all sorts of stuff. One day she said she knows somone perfect for me!! So she told me about this girl and arranges with her for us all to meet up and have a drink so that we can meet. So about 4 of us go to a bar and this girl comes for a drink but has to go for a meal with friends, she asks us to hang around and wait for her but we all had to get back. Now i'd say shes a HB9, the mutual friend text her and asked what she thought, she said he's really nice whats he said about me?? So i told the friend to pass on my number to her and HB9 said the same. She went on holiday for a week the following day but is now back and we have each others number via the mutual friend but havent really spoken since the group drink we went on, i didnt really get chance to speak to her on her own that day as we were all sat in a group.

So now im wondering how do i open her and what do i say to her now shes back off holiday? I'd say shes interested if she told the friend to pass on her number but i dont want to come accross weird when we've only briefly met. Any ideas?

Exactly what J said. I used to think talking on the phone was this big scary thing. I've since learned that it's as easy as taking a piss once you have what you want to say in mind. Do exactly what J said, set up some plans to do something fun and tell her she should tag along. It's that simple

Yeah, quite the story. I would have really gotten to know her as much as I could that night even if it was only briefly. You had an in, bro and I think you might have blown it by not showing confidence. Don't worry though there will be plenty more where that came from.

As for calling her back... JUST CALL HER!!! Say hey whats up, you were awfully shy that night you didn't talk to me. Then she will say something like well you didn't talk to me, then you say I'm talking to you now, then start small talk. By small talk I mean banter with her, say that your mutual friend says your trouble, (she will know your mutual friend didnt say that and you're flirting with her) she will say something flirty back, its just in womens nature to flirt. Then guide the interaction to well I'll give you a second chance with me, don't blow it, then say hmmm I was actually going to the market right now, why don't you tag along. Take her to the market brother, I know it sounds lame, but it works, and you won't have to spend money on her. Good Luck Brother.
