so instead of 'hey i need a quick females opinion....'..i say...
'ok seeing as you guys are clearly the social alcoholics in the room [point at your target and say 'especially her'], I need a quick females opinion on something which is probably right up your alley...ok who drinks and drives more, girls or guys?'
The tease almost sets the tone for fun/playfulness and shows confidence from your side...i find opinion openers very bland and UNfunny unless while youre into it you throw some humor in. A tease in the beginning would make them more receptive...(when I point them out to be the social alcoholics they are going to wonder what on earth i am about to ask them)...youre also labeling them (as social alcohlics) so they want find out why youve labelled them, creates curiosity without fail.
do you guys ever start with a tease like this BEFORE going into an opinion opener?....its not really a neg as its intention is not to lower their value, but rather disqualify yourself, set a playful mood, display confidence, and grab the sets attention by judging them.
