Ok so I just got to college, and the girl situation here is pretty rough... it's 70% guys and 100% of the guys want like 10% of the girls. So... what ends up happening is one girl will be approached non-stop and always have like 10 guys around her. Eventually they seem to get pretty tired of it but some really like the attention and some of the guys are pretty good looking and upperclassmen so the girls like the attention.

So it's like there's one girl who is talking to one guy tat she seems kind of interested in and then there's like 8 other guys standing around. How should I approach without seeming like another loser that's gonna stand around her? They're almost never alone so I have to approach in these situations. So basically I know I have to be cooler than the guy she's interested in and steal the attention, but I don't know how to go about it. Any suggestions? Thanks

Befriend all the guys. It's not that hard. After that when they are talking to a girl you can always go to a guy around them and say "Hi" and the other guys will also turn around and greet you. This way you build social proof because you show you are a leader. And if you know all the guys and like one girl you can always talk to them and they won't try to fuck you up. Just don't try to steal a girl who is into one of them and everything will be fine. And after all the guys are in your social circle try to get most of the girls in it. This way you will be the most cool guy around, will get invited to all the parties and introduced to everyone. It will make everything much easier
