Hey, I'm trying to game a girl I casually dated before. It's been about a month. Her birthday is coming up and I'm thinking this is a good way to reinitiate contact. A simple text should do. What do people think of this?

but think about it, there is a reason you're not together anymore, are you sure you really want it or youre just doing it because it's relatively "easy", and you feel lonely

I don't think it'll be easy. She could be seeing someone for all I know. Easy for me is going out and scoring another chick. But I've gone through enough since we ended it to realise the girl I let go is rare. It was about a month ago and she said lets wait a few weeks and see how we feel. I haven't spoken to her since. She has left "likes" on some of my facebook status lately. Maybe I should just say hey to her tomorrow on her birthday?

I agree. Before you do anything you need to figure out exactly what you want. If you want her back as your gf that is one thing. If you just want a casual fb relationship that is enitrely another thing. In my experience I have found it hard to reunite with an ex and just fuck without it messing with my head. Its fine at first but eventually I would get emotionally attached and then the craziness starts in again. If you just want to fuck my advice would be to find somebody new.

Well I text her, all friendly and threw in a joke. Got a reply the next day through facebook and we talked for a bit, like before I'm making her laugh and we're having fun. We were both going to the same gig that night, my mates in the band asked me to come along. So I told her I might see her there and logged off. Got to the gig and hung out with the band up by the stage while the supporting act was up (also my friend), I didn't even notice she was sitting near us. But when I did notice her I felt I'd prefer to hang with the mates who asked me out, the band also the hottest people in there. Was it worth snobbing her like that even though I DHV by hanging with the band and knowing everybody? Will it look like I was having too much fun to talk?

Anyway I was thinking of ringing her or casually bumping in to her to talk again.

Well we are back on talking terms, spoke to her again on facebook. Thinking of asking her to come along to a surfing trip with me and a few friends. It seems she has a new "friend" (ugly, ugly guy) so I hope she doesn't have to think twice about coming along. If she does come I can either close it there or just have fun and meet her one on one a few days after.
