My shirt was unbuttoned past my chest with sunglasses hanging off the top button. To really stand out I was also wearing a cowboy hat and a necklace I picked up at a vintage clothing store. I was getting a lot of attention from it. I opened a 2 set and got introduced to a group of about 7. I ask "how do you all know each other" and it turned out all the girls were taken. No biggie. On my way to the dance floor a hb9 in this little skirt stopped me.
Her: I like your hat!
Me: Thanks! where's yours?
Her: I don't have one. Can I try yours
Me: Sure
Put the hat on her head
Her: What do you think?
Me: Looks better on me
Take the hat back and put it on
Her: do you want to dance?
Me: Sure
I thought I was in as soon as we hit the floor. But we danced for like 30 seconds then she said she would be right back. Of course I was just left there looking stupid. And she never came back.
So I'm not sure where I went wrong. I think it's cat string theory. Like as soon as we danced I was too easy so she got bored and left. What do you guys think? What should I do in the future?

I would have opened another set in the mean time, always be having fun (its attractive). No its not catstring theory. Dancing was the right move on your part, but maybe you could have been more interesting on the dancefloor, idk I wasn't there. Oh and nice cocky funny with the hat comment.

I wouldn't have danced with her right away. I would have made her work for it. You can simply throw out a small hoop or compliance test before you'll dance with her. ("tell me something cool about you first")
If you do dance with her, make damn sure you know what you're doing. If you're boring on the dance floor, it's just like being boring at the bar. She'll leave. _________________ DJ Fuji
