So, what's the best way to learn game? Read the Mystery Method over and over again? Spend countless hours on the forums reading field reports? I recently got into the game, and have been pretty much jumping all around the place in terms of ebooks, forums and online articles. I have a whole bunch of ebooks just waiting, some concerning the game itself and some that are about psychology and such (body language as well). I'm overwhelmed with the amount of videos of seminars and just general advice, and have even been wondering whether or not it's possible to get good at this without going to a workshop. Basically, I'm amazed at the sheer amount of information available on this subject.

That being said, could anybody please give me some pointers on how I should proceed with learning game (MM)? How to balance sarging with reading? Which books should I pretty much have up my sleeve (memorized if you will), and which should I leave for later? Bear in mind that most of my sarging will take place at malls/cafes, and occasionally some parties.

I see many newbies here posting their field reports, and I'm actually quite impressed. I went to the field a few times already, but it doesn't really flow that easily, with the negging/DHV-ing and all, and so I was wondering as to what path these people took in learning.

1. The Game by Neil Strauss - A detailed memoir of one man's unique journey through the seduction community.
2. Venusian Arts Handbook by Mystery - Explains Mystery Method, the most widely taught method of pickup today, made popular by Neil Strauss's "The Game" and the VH1 reality TV-show series, "The Pickup Artist."
3. Body Language by Allan Pease - Explanations of better body language and proper posture.
4. Awaken the Giant Within by Anthony Robbins - Inner game help and positive motivation.
5. Real World Seduction by Swinggcat - Teaches "being the prize" and using tension to seduce.
6. Introducing NLP by Joseph O'Connor and John Seymour - An introduction to NLP and more importantly effective communication skills regardless of what method you're using.
7. Secrets of Female Sexuality by David Shade - for powerful sexual framing.
8. My Secret Garden by Nancy Friday - for a look into the female mind on fantasies.
9. The Attraction Code by Vin DiCarlo - An excellent in-depth guide on how to think in terms of attraction and becoming a natural.
10. The Way of the Superior Man by David Deida - What it means to be a man.
11. The Zen of Meeting Women by Max Weiss - A nice, easy-going guide to natural game that combines Zen Buddhism with pickup.



I suggest you read MM and some of the natural game books first and start going out. The other books you can read at your leisure so expand your mind to the various ideas on the subject. The major thing you need to be doing is going out or "practicing" with some consistency each week while reading. Real life interaction is the only way you will truly learn.

Pick-up is a soft skill, meaning no matter how much material you read and watch, if you don't go out and just do it, it is useless. Learn by making mistakes, just go out as soon as possible.

knowing all this stuff wont get you very far, because after you read and heard it all, ur confidence will still be the same

i'd suggest, work on your posture, voice and grab your balls to take some action

Best way to learn:

Read 1 book, you got basics, go out and see what works.

You make mistakes, you learn from them.

yeah once u get the gist of everything. go out and practice.
the more books u read, the more time wasted where u coulda been fuckin sum HB10. lol
like i spent so much time reading and it never helped my approach anxiety. i started going out and everything i learned was really in the field. even before i started reading. when i would go out with friends and a big wave of confidence hit me, id do great with women and i didnt realize the things i was doing til i knew about Pick Up.

just go out and keep trying. be fearless. thats one of the big things. just go out have fun. and learn from trial and error.
