I've been in the community for about a year now, and lately I've been seeing a lot of improvement in my game, and how girls have been responding to me, in general. Just from seeing how girls look at me and respond to me now, I can tell the opportunities and offers for sex are going to be coming soon, so I decided to do the responsible thing and do some research on safe sex so when the time comes, I can make the safest and most responsible decisions about sex. However, a lot of the statistics I read were pretty grim, and it has TOTALLY f*cked with my mind. What I want to know is, how do you guys rationalize being "pick-up artists" with the risks inherent in casual sex? I'm really trying to get back on track with the whole "pick-up" thing, but reading all that information really f*cked with my head.

One more question: What do you guys do to practice safe sex? Obviously, wear a condom when you have sex, but then are other issues that are a little more vague. For instance, oral sex. Do you wear a condom when a girl's giving you head? Also, what do you do for oral sex on a woman? Do you altogether avoid "going downtown" on a girl you just met, or do you use the methods suggested by a lot of health websites, such as using a dental dam or a condom cut length wise?

I have the highest standards for safe sex, part of why I'm still virgin as of this post. But here's what I would do.

1. Follow all safety precautions with condoms.
2. Wear one for fellatio.
3. Avoid cunnilingus alltogether, cus it just seems unsanitary to me.
4. Look carefully at the area during forplay to see that its clean.
5. Don't go for chicks that are sluts/whores/cumdumpsters/hoodrats, etc, cus they carry around diseases like piegons.
6. Most importantly, tell her she better be clean and ok with emergency contraception just in case I fall in the bottom 4%. If she has any std or conservative views on EC I would rather pass it up than risk my health and financial future for 1 girl. That's just me tho.

ask her straight up, this is step one. never be afraid to ask. and ill ask them again too (sometimes they get pissed) but if they react like "i told you, NO" then thats pretty believable. you can never really know though. if she seems like a nice girl, tells you no, then i have no choice but to believe her.

if she seems like a complete slut and tells you no, you still wonder if she has been tested and stuff. i try avoiding these types of girls.

anyway, always use condoms. dont get oral sex from a girl with herpes ever. not sure why you would even go for a girl with herpes though.

i tend to not go down on girls i just met. pretty much never.
