So I get to the club. After about 5 minutes a girl sitting at the bar makes eye contact. I fail to make my approach right away. I walk around the club and she continues to make eye contact 4-5 more times. I finally get the nerve to make my approach but I dont do so because a female friend of hers sits next to her and their talking for like 20 minutes. So I am standing across the bar from them (maybe 20 feet away). Eventually I make my way over to her side of the bar, but I are like 7 people between me and the bar. I am never able to squeeze my way past all these people to get to the bar. She leaves the bar about 10 minutes later and I dont see her again.

I am newbie. Just finished reading The Game. I would really appreciate any advice. So I guess I should have approached after I got the first eye contact. I haven't been to a club in a long time, so I wanted to wait until I got confirmation with her making eye contact multiple times. Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated. I was ready to approach when it was just her, but I began questioning myself when the friend sits down.

this can happen. but you have the 3 second rule to use so that you don't even think about it and just do it.

If you go indirect then it takes the strain off of you say something like you read in the game "did you see those girls fighting outside?"

I understand also it may feel a bit weird just walking out of the blue over to the girl but you can also make it look like you just happened to be moving over out of coincidence and then suddenly take a couple of suprised looks at her while she is still looking at you and say "hey, you work in xxx shop don't you?" she says no.
you say, well, have you got a sister who works there? she laughs. you say "well they say everybody has got a double somewhere in the world..."

and then "I am Dave...."

Heya, this is what I would have done.

I understand completly what you mean with having this unability to approach but lok on the bright side, if she kept giving you eye contact (an IOI) 4-5 times than you KNOW she wanted you to talk to her. So, having this confidence that she was interested in you means you can come in with a direct opener.

I would have said "You can't just keep looking at me like that without saying anything" and then just go with the flow, introduce yourself, etc, put on some Cocky/Funny, etc...
