the short answer to your question is "yes" , if a 40 year old dude goes into a club wearing neon shoes blinged out, shiny pants, has a big gut, wearing slim fit graphic tee, obviously this is not a good style for him. why? because he looks weird as fuck to everyone.
the long answer to your question is "not really" , if you are comfortable in your own skin, dress how you want. this shouldnt necessarily lead to the situation i described above though.
a lot of times, ppl want to dress and have a style that gives them the best chance of succeeding at whatever it is they are after.
so in ur example, if you are xx years old, wear the "newrock" boots or whatever u called them, but just know the right way to pull it off. if you are looking at the mirror and you feel uncomfortable, then dont project urself like that. _________________ swag
