I've just recently started exploring this whole PUA stuff, and the women psychology and stuff like that. Being a psychology student I find it rather marvelous.
Anyways, I have this question ...
I would appreciate if someone not so good looking would answer me.
Despite all the confirmations I've gotten from my girl friends, about neging girls, approaching in this way, not telling them they're beautiful. They say it would work. But then I see all this PUA's talking about how, after approaching this way, the last thing a girl will look is your looks.
Quite ironically, the PUA's that say this are quite good looking in my opinion.
I just want to know, how much look proof, doing this PUA stuff really is?...

Im also new the community. Im not sure if i am fully understanding what you are saying but i think your saying how much does picking up girls have to do with how good you look. From what ive gotten from the game is the understaning that this in not a foolproof method for everyone to get laid. It is more a guide to help people who have confrontational fears or problems break past the initial discomfort of talking to a person and breaking into an area where they can get to know you or you can get to know them without scaring them away or makeing yourself come off as undesirable.

Sadly i do believe looks have alot to do with it. But by looks i mean the way you handle your self. Your posture, your style, how well you take care of yourself. Oviously you wont get many dates if you dont shower much or never maintain your self. But just because your not a brad pitt look alike does not mean you cannot use the game to help you meet ladies. If i thought i was unattractive i would start by makeing myself into the best person i think i could be. Because the hardest person to convince will be yourself. After that if you feel good about yourself when you go out and meet someone it will show and then it will help them see the attractive side of you. Well... obviously, you're not gonna get a date, if you look like really bad, maybe don't have teeth, or stuff like that about general care.
But lets say you're this fat guy, but you still take care of your grooming, wear good clothes, they're clean etc...
What are the chances for him?
I once read somewhere, that, by approaching this ways, you disarm them of a potential guy hitting on her, and by doing the attraction routines etc...
Mystery once said "Attraction is not an option" when you're doing his "methods" ...
So, does a guy like this still has a chance with an HB10? by using PUA tactics?
That's my question.
All I see on the internet are good looking PUA's... It would be nice to see someone maybe around this physical carachteristics actually pull it off... You know, it would actually be a motivation for everyone else to see how really this stuff works.

Actually alot of the best PUA's are not very good looking at all. Or even started out not looking good and molded themselves into something they thought was better. But now i think i get what your saying and yes i do believe any one using the right tactics could get an HB10. Ive seen some wierd stuff. fat or old guys with super hot girls. Ive even seen guys that got nothing going for them and they arnt attractive get hot girls. Attitude has alot to do with it and using the right method and working on your social interactions will help. If you dont believe me look up Style. He is one of the better PUA's out there but he recently retired from PUA. His real name is Niel Strauss and if you look up what he used to look like and look up what he looks like now you will almost not recognize him. And some of the methods that they have dont have to do with actual attraction between you and her some are just about instinct and hard wired attractions. You can even talk a girl into visualizing that she is attracted to you and associate it with a gesture so that every time you make that gesture she gets that feeling. Research hyposis and NLP. So my simple awnser is yes i believe a guy like what you discribed would be perfect for some of these methods. And if you want demonstrations of large but clean guys theres one on the 1st season of the pickup artest who actually dosnt do too bad using mysteries teaching.

I have to agree with Mystery on this one ... attraction is not an option ... I think ugly/good looking fat ... if you are equiped with the right amount of energy and all goes well ... its kind of hard for them to write you off ... I think initially gurls will find you unattractive or whatever, but after getting to know you, you having them laughing and stuck on you its kind of hard for them to do without you ... BUT, don't get me wrong you will run across your fair share of HB10 thats see an ugly person and no matter what they say will drop them or cut them off and leave because there shallow ... the game is all about trying and failing everything is not going to be 100%, but the more you try the more you land ... I think its the hardest thing in the game is being rejected and going back out there I bet even now all PUA get rejected ... but the good ones are the ones that can pick thereselves up and pursuit different targets ...
