Sorry this may seem like a silly question but how does the forum "reputation" system work? I've searched for a relevant thread that might explain this without success.

So far I've worked out that
- You start on 0.
- You gain at least 0.1 for every post.
- You can only award points once you have a reputiation of more than 1.
- You cannot award less that 1 whole point.
- You cannot award less points than you have.
- You can only award points once per half an hour.

Things I'm not certain about
- Whether you can see your own repuatation statistics and comments.
- Whether the points that you award to someone else are deducted from your own reputation.
- Whether writing a long post or popularlarly viewed thread gains you more than 0.1.
