So this girl has been telling me we should hang out. I know this one would be a little tougher, so I ignored her for a while. Today when I texted her she said she wanted to hang out still yadda yadda.

Anyways, there is a huge art-fair coming to town (formerly the #1 in the country, but consistently attracts hundreds of thousands of people and is top rated.) We are both here in our college town, and i was thinking of seeing if she wanted to check it out with me, what do you guys think?

I don't think it is intimate, but maybe it could be used to DHV, and get some kino (guiding through crowds etc). She will be coming to my party later this week too. I don't like go to art fairs a lot (or ever), so I don't want to seem lame, but it is unique, just wondering what some other peoples opinions are...

You don't want to seem lame but you're taking her to an art fair that you don't like just to impress her and get into her pants? Huh? I don't get it. Why don't you just take her shopping for handbags and shoes instead. You'll probably hate that as well but she might get a handbag out of the deal.

Well, I never said the art fair IS lame, just curious about opinions. I think it will probably be pretty cool, it is massive and one of the best in the country, it just isnt something i have really done before, but there is music and the whole 9 yards....

You have to do something you enjoy too... if you will enjoy an art fair, you can make it an experience she will enjoy as well. Don't start to doubt yourself. If you invited her and she accepted then you know she either likes art a lot or doesn't mind the idea of going out with you somewhere to chill.

I've been to an arts festival in my city and I had a great time. There was live music all day varying in style and a bunch of local talented artists selling their works. Obviously there are food stands are everywhere and nothing hits like a gyro at a festival.

The date will be what ever you make of it.

Why not? It could be fun, worst case scenario, you get bored...

i think thisis a great idea, like previously stated whats the worst that hapends- it gets boring and you leave together or suggest another activity. This is alsoa great place to do some kino- but all in all goodluck and have a great time!

Your initial post and your reply are certainly different. You don't have to make excuses to anybody for being who you are and liking what you like. Just roll with what you like and have fun with it.

Vegas is right, The festival will be what you make of it. Remember, you're having fun , she'll have fun too. If your bored, she'll probably get bored too, and if that happens, blow the joint and find something exciting to do. Tell her "Let get out of here and do something fun." or something, have a plan B. Remember, it's what you make out of it. - Redkid
