What is your input on this?

If me and this girl meet in public, she'll come up to me and initiate conversation, but I always have to initiate conversation online, but after I do, she'll talk with me as long as we're online.

What I find strange is that she'll come right up to me in public, where everyone is looking, so she's not ashamed of being seen with me (and there would be absolutely no reason for that) but she won't start anything online, where nobody hears what she speaks about with me.

I have a girl - friend who I used to have a crush on who did this to me and it used to drive me nuts. I eventually put it down to the fact that she likes to pick people up when she wants them, and cast them aside when she doesnt.

So if i went to my friends house and she was there too, we were doing the same thing and she would always initiate the conversation, but then when I would see her online I would always have to be the one to say "hey" and clearly if she was doing something / had something better to do then she would simply ignore me.

I solved this problem by completely ignoring her and making no effort to speak to her unless of course I see her face to face. Im not rude or anything, but now at least im not chasing around trying to get her attention.
