I'm relatively new to the PUA scene, and I'm trying to transition from AFC to PUA.

I'm married but my wife (an HB8 brunette) is in favor of me sleeping with other women, and welcomes my involvement in the pickup community, so I wouldn't be cheating in any way (something I hate, I'm a honest guy).

My question to you is how is this going to affect my game? I'm sure that being married must pose challenges, but how to overcome them? Anyone in a similar situation?

Bonus question: I spent my first 16 years in Italy, before my parents and I relocated to Calgary. This means that my English is pretty good, but I still make mistakes and have an obvious Italian accent. They say this is an advantage, but in a way I feel a bit conscious about it. Does this really help a lot with chicks?

First of all, Pick-up isn't all about sleeping with other women, but rather self-development. Start working on your inner game (which also solves your conciousness of your accent, your accent might be your greatest weapon if you know how to use it). If you develop a strong set of beliefs I doubt that your marriage will come in danger (since in my opinion marriage with a woman you love kicks ass).

I agree. I'm trying hard to work on this. I'm currently immersed into David DeAngelo DVDs.

She is great. She just doesn't want me to be in love with other chicks. But that should not be a problem.

DD is great, I also recommend the works of RSD.

I really enjoyed The Game. It's not a 'technical document' per say but rather the experience that Neil Strauss becoming a PUA. Take it a bit like a Field Report of 400 pages. Very well written.

I would also recommend Mystery Method. I don't mean going that style of pick up 100%, but a lot of things he maps are eye openers. IOIs, his Attraction/Confort/Seduction phase model, etc.

I haven't read The Rules of the Game so can't comment here.
