Getting good at PUA is just like any other skill - it takes a lot of time and effort.
Generally people don't like to talk about their failures - so you read a lot about all these great success stories here, but really the guys who are having success had to deal with a lot of failure first.
Of the first 20 numbers I got from going out, all were flakes. It's no big deal. I continued to get numbers and finally started setting up day-two's. A lot of the day-two's were also failures. Eventually things got better.
Just like a bodybuilder doesn't see any results after a few weeks - most PUA's don't either, but you have to realize, most guys go out and don't even get numbers, so you're already ahead of the bell curve.
If you keep at and keep getting numbers, you will start to see results. I promise.
You should try texting the girls the night you meet them; don't call - people don't like talking on the phone to other people they don't know very well. "it was nice to meet you - drive home safe" - something like that. If she does not respond text her the next day.

Also - sometimes girls will give numbers as a nice way to eject from a set. They fell bad about just leaving the set, so you get a number. It's a consolation prize, and they have no plans of actually calling back.
As you get better you get less of the consolation prize numbers and more of the real kind of numbers.
