Hey guys, I'm somewhat new to this and I just came from my first night of sarging at a lounge. I got blown out from a ton of sets, but I completed my goal of destroying some of my AA

But my question/problem is this: At the lounge, there was REALLY loud music, along with a lot of groups of girls that are seated. I learned that it's best to engage the entire group instead of just sniping your target, so that's what I <i>attempted</i> to do. The girls were usually sitting in L shapes, at round tables, or in a straight line on couches. Whenever I tried to open sets of 4 or 5 girls, I'd try to talk as loud as I can through the music, but it felt like only a couple of the girls could hear me when I sit down. Then soon enough, the ones that can't hear me well would just take their friend away.

So what would you guys do in this? It seems difficult to engage the entire group with loud music (especially if you can only sit at the edge of the couch)

yeah its definately hard in places like that
thats still not a super strong spot of mine either
but first of all u got to have energy to get them all to notice you
and then on the approach you gotta be in a spot where they all can hear you and stuff. like in the middle. and stand up until they are interested in what you are saying, then u can crouch down or sit down when the conversation gets going.
when u automatically sit down at the end of the couch on the approach, u are kinda forcing urself into the group and showing that ur just gonna be sum weird guy thats gonna bother them, but only part of the group, which is why the cockblocking goes on. when you stand and use body language and show that ur going to walk away soon. it makes them feel more comfortable

also that why we all say you have to disarm the obsticles, so that way at the end of the night, u have their acceptance and they will let their friend be with you.
