Has anyone else ever had a friend that "poaches" the sets you approach. let me explain what I mean by poachers; Last night we were out sarging, every time I approached a set my friend would come in and just take over, even single sets (I felt like telling him to do his own damn approaches). I understand the "game respect game" philosophy and therefore I can't even blame the guy. The other factor for my case is that he is more at home in the club setting than I am, so I guess it's a case of adaptability issues on my part.

take him outside and kick his ass next time.

no real friend would do that to another.

and if he is approaching every set that you are, trying to make u feel insignificant, then hes in the game for the wrong reason. its not that kind of game! go play madden if u want to outplay your own friend!

and for everyone that goes out sarging, just some advice...DONT..im not telling u not to really tho, im just saying u should really think about this

when u go out with the goal to only pick up on women, you have 2 options, succeed or fail
but if you go out just to have a great time, and there ends up being HBs there, then hey, go HAVE FUN. cuz what guy doesnt have fun picking up on girls. and as long as u had a good time which is easy to do, u never failed...

I agree about out gaming the guy, I definately have an easier time bouncing someone I'm not friends with. Your 100% right about going out for fun, that's always our first goal!

It seems you guys need to go to a bar, have a beer and just make a game plan. I have plenty of friends who can't open well but that doesn't mean they have absolutely no game. And I really don't mind handing my friends chicks that I open. What will I do, F 4 girls in 1 night?

If you make a good game plan he continues to cock block you, leave him the F home. I've actually met a few guys who are habitual F-UP's and there's nothing that can be done with them . . . but give your bud a chance first and talk over a plan.

kasabi you are the man! I love that idea of opening for your friends! I don't want to cockblock my friends so thats a great way to get them focused on something so you can talk to the HB you want.

Just make the plan simple. You go after just brunettes and he gets to go after blondes and redheads. Just agree ahead of time. But you can't step on each other's toes this way.

A plan would be to take advantage of your collective strengths to your mutual benefit. If the OP is a good opener, he'd be the scout of the group who goes out to poach ladies from other groups. The joker of the group keeps them occupied and the guy with some sack gives them the invite to extract them out of the bar/club.

Opening (even to groups of 4 or more girls) should be done by one person anyway. Approach them as a big group and you look like a bunch of guys with no lives + can look threatening. Instead, one guy goes, "Jeesh, I don't know where all my friends are . . . they're here but all over the place! . . ."

Secondly, the "extractor" can go balls to the wall. If he gets a bad response, the opener plays "good cop" and goes, "Larry, what the hell are you saying? What are you drunk? Ha ha ha . . . Ladies, please forgive my drunk and horny friend." (Then the opener can go grab other (more willing) ladies because he's the under the radar nice guy)

oh wow, I didn't even realize thats how you meant it. Thats pure genius, I always feel like I'm fighting against my buddies rather than with them. I usually open, then buddy will come in and distract my set so I leave and approach something else. I also end up apologizing for uncalibrated friends (they get the concept of plough but not the concept of calibration, aye!)
