Hey,

I see PUAs use the words 'frame' a lot in forums but I don't know what it means. Can some on give me an insight into it with examples plz? :)

From what I understand, every situation has a frame, or a context. What you want to do is control the context, thus controling the frame events are happening in.

For example:

Girl: Buy me a drink
Guy: Okay, one bud light

Girl controls the frame, because she's calling the shots.

or:

Girl: Buy me a drink
Guy: Maybe, buy me one first then I'll get the next round

Guy taking the frame over in this example

I still don't fully understand, but I'm working on it. Basically, it's how you "frame" interactions.

kk, I kinda get ya. From wat u posted it seems like it means that girls have gotta tend a guys needs, not the other way round. :)

Hey,

Frame, its the window through which an interaction is viewed. Whoever has the stronger presence sets the frame.

If you meet a group of people who are vegetarians and start with a huge story and get them hooked and following and eventually pull out how great a New York Strip loin is, and then they start qualifying to you. You have the frame.

The frame is control, if you have ever told a joke, that when people pick up is funny. But when you have to explain it the joke becomes very sad and terrible, well the frame changed.
