I've noticed that 2 people avoid being socially awkward. Let me tell you how it went down, the other week I was in contact with a company about a job , I didn't no that you had to pay to join there team, when they rang to confirm that I have an interview (over the phone) , I said OK and was over joyed of how easy that seemed to be.

The next day a letter arrived , they put everything in writing, basically what they told me over the phone and with a surprise of how much it's going to cost, straight away I said to myself I'm not paying that, the day came and the phone rang it was them calling to interview me, well I just couldn't bring myself to answer it, I was saying to myself just tell them you didn't realise that it was going to cost and that your not interested anymore, I just couldn't do it. This was sometime last week, they've rang everyday since , 2 -3 times aday , they are very persistent.

The other one , I was ment to be going on holiday with this girl I've never met before , she's a friend of a friend , the first time I met her I was just being myself as if I was chilling with some friends , I.e talking about sex , talking aload of shit. I noticed that she wasn't really playing along and was practicly quite for most of the time were chilling out, I told her I was getting bored and said bye it was nice to met you , about 20 minutes later my friend rings me up and says she just got of the phone to her and she's not coming now.
I think that she's not comfortable around me and she dosn't know if she can last a holiday not feeling comfortable.

Can anyone else relate to a socially awkward situation?

Im not suprised that she doesnt want to go on holiday with you bro... you told her you were bored in her company!! You didn't appear to engage her in the conversation at any point. Talking with or around girls you dont know is different from talking to guys you dont know. You cant just talk sex, football, bullshit and expect them to feel comfortable and join in.

Looks like I now know that, surprise, surprise , you try something you learn from it.

Thanks for the second opinion :)

Also, you might consider apologizing to your friend for alienating his friend; it's good form.
