hey, I'm 17 years old. and Live in Holland. I knew about the community sins 2 years ago, but never really paid much attention to it because I didn't really understand much of it. read "The Game" and like half of the "Mystery Method" Am really interested. I have the "Annihilation Method" and "Revelation" book. Now I also have a question to the more experienced people out there. I know quite a bit, about "DHV" Attraction Switches, Connection Switches, Openers, Etc.. but my questions are.

1. How many times have some of you guys FAILED, to become at the position where you are now. And how did you take this failure. also how do you wish you would have taken this failure.

2. How long and How many practice would it take "MORE OR LESS" to become GOOD! at the game, NOT like Mystery etc.. but the people who are able to pick-up nine's and 10's but aren't GURU'S.

3. What are your tips to me and other people who are beginners, and a little bit in the middle of the "PICK-UP GAME" as in what should we start learning, and how many times should we game and for how long.

4. Is Field-Practice the main KEY to becoming successful? (Sounds Logical =P )

I would really appreciate it if some of you guys could answer the questions for me and help me out in my journey to become a successful pick-up artist.

Good question actually... I failed for a good long while it seemed while having minor success with things. I could see improvement but by all means I was failing for months on end and still fail sometimes. At first my confidence wasn't so great and it was really tough to keep going out and trying after failing.

Now after having success its a lot easier to be rejected. I have hot girls that I date and meet constantly. I have women wanting to go out with me and do things with me. If I go up on a cold approach and get rejected I don't give a damn because I have others I can call or whatever. So I really have detached from the outcome, and thus I succeed more.
It took me 6 solid months to get good at the process of the Mystery Method and be able to consistently do it without too many mistakes. I could pull 7s and 8s without much problem at that time. It took me another 3-4 months to get really solid at pulling hotter girls.
Just go out and keep yourself going out and practicing. There is no magic pill to swallow to be good. It's going to take some time so set yourself up for the long haul. You are going to have to set short and long term goals. A short term could be 3 approaches one night, a long term might be to have a relationship by the end of the year with a hot girl you really like.

The results come slow at first so make sure to reward yourself for doing a good job. Make sure to stay focused on your goals and what you want to accomplish and be careful not to procrastinate by making excuses or trying to "over learn" things instead of doing them.

It's easy to give up and not do this. Take a look at the forum. There are 50,000 members almost yet you see the same 40 guys or so posting field reports on a regular basis. You have to really want to do this and make up your mind you want a change in your life.
YES!!! I can't emphasize this enough. As an analytical person my logical conclusion was at first that I need to learn as much as I could about the subject. I thought that just the knowledge itself would be enough that I would be able to perform when I wanted to. However, this was not the case. I read a lot of material but it didn't matter any. I'd go out and not approach. I'd then go home and tell myself it wouldn't happen again, but it did!

Think of it like this. Would you let a doctor who has spent 10 years of his life learning about heart surgery but NEVER TOUCHED A PATIENT operate on you? I'm sure he has the knowledge but there is a lot to be said for practical experience and practicing to get good. You can't just learn it and expect to perform like a master when you see a great looking woman.

You have to PRACTICE to get your social calibration down, your delivery, your mannerisms, to understand her body language, to know their reactions before you do things, to know when to eject and reopen, and when to keep plowing.

Hey luca, u got some valid questions 4 a young gun.. The best way to progress in this bussines, ask the other PUA's their opinion, or question a method or ask any question basically with your main goal being 2 learn something from it..

Ive been in the game for around 5months and im starting 2 get succes with 8's and reaching the 9's but they are tough! But heres what I do, and it workes briliantly.. I went to a big city the other day, just after i found the whole community, and i decided that, where ever i go in that city, i wil make conversation with random people.. It worked! I quickly realized how easy it is to approach any person, without the intention to hit on them and just be friendly.. That way, you can sort of practice for whenever you go out sarging.. Hope that makes sense..

The other thing, most of the books in the PUA community are available for free on the internet, i downloaded too many books to keep track with.. Then, get acknowledged with the difrent methods and use some of those when you go sarging.. When u get back home from your sarging session, think about the girl you sarged that evening and make a list of where your sticking points were.. What you do next is, go through the diffrent books and read more on your sticking point and how you can improve it.. Hope it helps man..

Oh by the way, read the book, Magic Bullets by Nick Savoy.. It does wonders for communication skills..
