I've never had sex on the first date!

So basically I met this girl at a bar..We hit it off..

Arranged to meet up and we did the following week..

Went to get something to eat, she was drinking wine and was tipsy by the end of the night..We talked about some sexual fantasies and other shit

I drove her back to hers to drop her home...She asks me on the way why I was taking her home so I turned the car around looking for a place to park...

I parked up in a quiet place but she wasn't very comfortable with it...So I found another place and we made out..

She backed out from going in the back of my car but I could've persuaded her...But I dunno, it was alittle strange for me coz I've never had sex on the first date..

So I text her today asking her to hook up...She says she's busy for a while..It felt like a total blow off..I told her to let me know when she's free...

My question is, how do I read the signs next time???

Do I attempt having sex with all girls on the 1st date from now on??

You should have taken her to your place and not tried it in a car but next time assume she wants to sleep with you whenever you meet her. Then even if she isn't into a lay she will let you know and you won't miss an opportunity.

I think that depends personally I have problems keeping the momentum and level of attraction for long periods of time via text, tends to get a bit chatty. So I always go for one night stands. Also you don't have to be assertive it is more kinda facilitating the inevitable. So you will need somewhere to go (your house), a reason to go there (a movie), some condoms and kinda build attraction and escalate kino for the entire interaction.

When you get back you can often get LMR and if you want a relationship tell her you respect that and will wait, then she will fuck you in the morning and like you more.

I think sex should always be in your mind as a possibility, but never an assumed conclusion especially on the first date.

Sounds like she probably wanted sex (to some extent), but your behavior/level of assertion/approach wasn't quite what she was looking for-- so it didn't happen. If she didn't want to go into the back seat you should have just kept working in the front seat until things got so steamy there was no other choice but the back seat. I suspect on the next date (if you get one) she will be more guarded about being physical with you. This means you will have to be more assertive in initiating and instigating to get what you want.
