I was riding the elevator in my building yesterday. About halfway down the elevator stops and a girl that I've talked to a few times get's on. I do the usual, "hey, hows it going". She says "not bad" looks me over and asks "doing laundry?" (I was in gym shorts, t-shirt, and sneakers). I said "No, gym" looked her over and said "you should come with me sometime". After that she changed topics to the weather. Was this a shit test? Did I nail it? Too cocky?

i wouldn't consider it a shit test

i would just look at it as she didn't want to continue the subject of her
coming to the gym with you

also i would never really invite a girl to a gym unless like we were in a relationship
, good friends, or wasn't trying to pursue her romantically in any way
