I fall in love easily and I have fallen in love lots of times, but there's been only one girl that I tranced out for in my life. She was a hired gun. I also felt the most intense chemistry for her ever. I felt like her personality was perfectly compatible with mine and that she was a soulmate. I'm sure I must have been giving her the DDB look. And whenever I made eye contact with her, she smiled and her eyes were extremely bright, as if they literally had light coming out of them. After I started liking her, I pretty much tranced out every time I talked to her. All I could see was her face. The rest of the world either disappeared or turned very dark and all the other people around were gone from my mind.

I just want to know how common or uncommon this is.

I've done it before to my first gf. For me, it wore off after a while. I'd say give it time and you should be a perfectly normal, functioning human being before you know it!
