Sorry, this will be a little long.

So, I've known this chick for about a year. The first few months I knew her I got clingy and bitchy and did some stupid AFC shit and she said she just wanted to be friends.

I moved on, but we stayed friends, except I've always used her to practice stuff i learn here or other places (not saying anything sexual though, figured that would just make things awkward, and I really would have no inclination to follow through with it.)

Well, in the past few months she keeps bitching to me about how much she wants a boyfriend or a date or even just to get laid. The last time she even kissed a dude was about a year ago.

She bailed on me to hang out a few weeks ago, so un-intentionally, I froze her out. And the other day when I decided to talk to her again, she seemed even more desperate to find someone. Shes really more of a friend to me, so I was nice to her about it and didn't tease her about that, but I have been stepping up the cocky/funny since I unfroze her.

In this situation, do you think that there is a shot here? And if so, how do I take it? Is there a different way to approach this when its a person you know as opposed to a chick you just met?

This tid bit of information should set off fire alarms in your head. Guys are always looking to get laid, but she can't seem to find someone interested enough to 'kiss' her? I would keep my distance...

She hasn't been kissed in over a year. *you really should be asking yourself why*

She bitches about the lack of a boyfriend, unable to land a date, or get laid. *I have yet to meet an emotional stable girl that would come out and admit this to a guy #1, #2 this makes you her 'emotional tampon'.

She bailed on you. *sounds like she left you hanging, which is an automtic dismissal if it were me*

She has become even 'more' desperate. *desperate women are more of a hassle than they are worth*

So, in my opinion, it's not that complicated, it's pretty simple what you should do. Unless of course your 'little head' is battling the one on your shoulders.
