Hey guys,

firstly, I just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you, to absolutely everyone in the community, especially the guys who run the site and those mPUAs who willfully dole out their expertise without any demand for recompence. Thanks to everyone for their individual posts, that helped me find answers to all the questions I wanted to ask myself. I'll stop it there before it turns into an oscar acceptance speech.

Secondly, apologies for the length of the post, but its difficult to contain my excitement!

just back from my very first "field trip", and although not a resounding success it was definitely a major, major step in the right direction. Just to give a little background:

I work on a US military base in Iraq, where up until I found this community, I thought that there was no hope in hell of ever getting any action. As, another member detailed in another thread, its basically full of AMOGs with, what appeared to be very, very little sarging opportunities - especially for someone with absolutely no game, whatsoever, like myself. I put the AFC into Absolutely Fucking Crap with women.

But I discovered the community and realised that the possibilities are absolutely fucking endless. I have been trawling through a lot of threads, but have only scratched the surface so far, and I know I have a very long, long way to go.

For my first field mission I decided I would go test what I had learned over the past week or so, in the massage parlour/beauty salon on base. There is a nice HB7.5 there (which is outstanding for here), an HB6.8 and an HB6 (could be 7 if she looked after herself). Obviously the HB7.5 was the initial target.

There were a good few obsatcles that I thought I was facing, firstly I wasn't sure how good their english was, I knew it would be OK at best, but definitely did not think that negging would actually be understood or anything. Then there was the fact that in the massage parlour, there are a couple of "private" sections, that offer minimal privacy, there are no doors, curtains or even string beads, just an open doorway, with people regularly walking past, and even popping in. Add to this that General Order #1 is no fraternising on base. She would obviously lose her job too if she was caught doing anything.

I had gotten a massage previously form the HB6 and thought that a good way to try out my game, would be to go to the manager of the store and ask him if it would be possible to get a massage lesson - natural situation, opens itself and lots of potential for Kino. He said no prob and told me to come back the next day. Which I did. It was the HB6 that was to give me the lesson, so I switched targets to her, simply bcos I didn't want to do what I normally do, set my sights on a target only to get caught between two minds and end up doing nothing.

I negged where I could, some of which was lost in translation, but my "annoyance" at her lack of understanding probably did the negging for me. She was massaging me and got me to kino her - for me to show her i understood the technique. Anyway, I was getting a lot IOIs and Kino from her (unnecessary touches, lingering hands, etc.) I would have kissed closed her - she was rubbing my neck and chest at the end, which was totally superfluous and moved her face close to mine, and said she wanted to kiss me but couldn't because if her boss saw, or even found out she could lose her job - that I didn't want. Like I said, it would have been easy for anyone to see.


I was conscious of what to do in certain situations, and in situations where I would normally have shown too much interest, over-thought the situation trying to think what to do next, instead I just relaxed and said nothing.


Like I say, this is by no means a resounding success but, it was great to actually put it into practice and see that it can and does work. I was fearful of becoming a keyboard jockey, bcos I had played scenarios over in my head and "knew" what to do, but had chickened out of actually putting them into practice.
