Let me give a very basic overview of this one girl. She is in one of my classes and sits near me, and I havn't activly persued her.

I am at an apartment advertisement party thing and I see her on a thursday night. She comes rushing up to me out of no where and convo goes like this:

Pua: Holy shit, where did you come from? Did you just drop out of the sky?
HB8: I saw you and just wanted to come over and say hi
Pua: What are you drinking? *picks up drink out of her hand and takes sip*
HB: Sex on the beach
Pua: No thanks, and besides, we arn't on a beach, we are at a pool
HB eats it up and laughts
HB: Why are you fully clothed?
Pua: Your dress (with bathing suit under) isn't exactly naked either *and I pull her dress up flirty like*
HB flirtly slaps my hand away

At this point my friends want to go somewhere else and I figured it would be a good time to leave on a good note making her think about me. I would open her later.

We went to the balcony of my friends apartment and HB was playing beer pong. I don't even notice her and she spots me and yells "HOW DID YOU GET OVER THERE!?"

I tell her I broke in
She laughs.

I ignore her and talk with friends while she is constantly shouting "GERMAN!! ITS SOOO COLD!!"

I jokly say, "it shows" and smile.

We eventually leave.

Monday

I miss class

Tuesday
I hear from my friend that she came by looking for me and in class (we have a class together) I get a text from her ( I didn't give her my number)

I call her a crazy stalker and she smiles and just grins. Mid text, I reply back to her and she just doesn't reply what so ever. I tell her it's rude to do that (simi jokingly punish her) She leaves class early to go to work and texts me telling me. It was raining so I told her to drive carefully

Wednesday
Huge Kinos inbetween her and I. She writes me little notes that we pass back and forth inbetween ourselves. I neg her saying "I thought we stopped doing this in 6th grade!" She smiles and keeps passing.
I eventually tell her I am getting a huge party apartment with stripper pole and all. She says she "cant wait to be apart of it" I tell her "Who said you were invited?" and wink. She drops her mouth and has a huge smile.
At the end of class, I think she trys to make me jealous by grabbing another guys arm when they were leaving the building. I ignore and pay attention to friend to show it didn't phase me.

Thursday
She texts me halfway through class saying "Whore "
I say "slut )" and then wait for reply... Nothing... At all... Wierd as shit.

Friday
We do a group presentation and she is texting while all of the other people present. I tell her jokingly to quit texting. Before our group (she isn't in group) goes up, I take her phone out of her hand, take battery out of her phone so she HAS to pay attention to my presentation. She jokingly punches me on the arm and begs for the battery back. After my presentation, I reward her for smiling and paying attention to my presentation by giving back her phone battery.

About an hour later, I tell her to come work out with me (We had a bet that I could do more crunches than her). Nothing back at all.

Monday (of this week)
She seems sick but looks damn good. I wanted to experiment with a shutout during class, so I don't giver her any attention. While we are about to leave she coughs and I tell her "I thought you were joking about the swine flu thing". (In the previous note she sneezed and I told her that she had swine flu and I told her not to give it to me. She tells me she is going to find the flu and give it to me.) I continue my shutout by leaving before her and not talking to her at all.

Today (tuesday)
She doesn't text me or talk to me at all. Strange.






Major question is. I feel that the shutout is only losing her interest in me. I was having serious serious IOIs with her and now almost nothing. I was wondering if she was possibly shutting me out as well. I don't see her in class for the rest of the year. Any suggestions as far as Texting or anything goes? Donno... She could study with me for a final. That could be a useful date. Any ideas?

i don't think you should shut her out if you want to f-close. she already knows you aren't desperate and needy so it would be fine to keep in touch with her more now.

thats my opinion. if she flakes, neg her for it. if she completely ignores you then just move on.

It just seems wierd that we would be texting and she would (mid conversation) cut me off and ignore me. Yeah, I also think I have been over-negging. Maybe a little reward if she IOIs more. I'll post pics of her later tomorrow... Maybe I can get more responses .

update: after class, I was walking out of the class and she was talking to one of her friends. She looked down so I said to "smile, it makes you feel better!" and as I was walking past she punched me in the arm so I pulled the whole "how do you hang out with her, she is abusive" to her friend and grabbed HBs binder out of her hand (which she was biting while we were talking so I'll take that as an IOI) and started walking. She followed and walked me to her car and was giving me huge IOIs the whole way there.

Still, she doesn't answer texts, or will text me and just stop mid convo. I know she texts all the time because in class she is constantly clicking her phone as she texts.

Why is she shutting me out? I was giving her bigger IOIs and she was returning them even more.

Also, is this even the right section in the forum to be posting this? I don't seem to be getting many responses.

Can you explain what you mean by "I was giving her even bigger IOI's? Also, the key here is to isolate so studying for that final is key...maybe a text like 'since you miss and leave class so much i think you could use some help studying for the final' would work...then you have to close and I mean have to...the whole back and forth IOI game is fine but if you don't close you will find yourself in the LJBF zone and you certaintly don't want that.....Go rock it brother!!

Sorry, that was probably poorly worded. I didn't think I was giving her enough IOIs and didn't want to be placed in friend zone because of her thinking I wasn't interested in her. Once I got a few IOIs I gave one back and she gave me many more after that.

Maybe she just doesn't want to text me? I donno. In person, I feel like I could easily close - no problem. I just was wondering what was up with the texting. And also, I think I will just call her to meet up to study. I think that would be better than texting.
