Ok so here it goes;

I am a student at a prestigious university in southern California...needless to say there is plenty of HB's running around all for the taking. But theres one chick in particular thats an enigma to me, and I am pretty experienced at gaming.

So theres this girl, HB8.5, and she is very shy and sends mixed signals.

Every time I see her, theres this automatically attraction tension, she always looks over at me, and you can just feel that she wants it. Its awesome.

I've #-closed her, but no other real progress.

Here's the thing.

Whenever I try to contact her, she ignores me. I text her, she wont text back. I call, no call back. This is strange because she so clearly is attracted and wants to hook up.

The only time she contacts me is when she is drunk/partying. As a matter of fact two weekends ago she sent me this text:

"Heyyy theres a huge dance party at the "So n' So" Frat house, come over here and dancee the night away with meee xoxoxoxo"

I was unfortunately out of town when she texted me, otherwise I would have gone to this party.

Now, I think there are two reasons why she behaves so mysteriously with me.

1) She is embarrassed about the way she acts towards me when she is drunk, and gets awkward when she sees me around campus. This also leads her to not contact me back. She is very shy after all.

2) She actually has a boyfriend all the way back in Aspen. This LAME AFC who is 5'4", nasty dred locks, and is still in high school! I think she is maybe too much of a "good" girl or something. I dunno. But I'm the opposite of her BF which I think gets her off.

She clearly uses alcohol as a means to justify her actions towards me. She says stuff she would be way to shy to say if she was sober.

Now my question is what do I do next?

I'm not a pro but from my experience in the rl and on the forums, you should initiate something. Call her, ask her to do something together, lunch, dinner, party, go somewhere, etc. because she might be kinda shy, make sure she gets the vibe that you want to do something with her and you enjoy her company to some extent. if she doesn't respond, call once more after a few days-week and offer again. if not, just leave it, forget her. and go chase some other tail. this way the offer's still on the table (getting cold very quickly...) and shows her your interested but also shows that you're a man of action and not one to be played (push-pulled) with.

This is the perfect situation for the "guaranteed phone call set up".

I wrote about this a few times but...

Since she's already embarrassed about her drunk calls, you can't expect her to respond if you text her with ANYTHING having to do with dating, relationships, going out, etc . . . (She feels you're responding to her "drunk slutiness")

So you've got to just fire off some random texts:

"My God it's hot today. How's the weather on the SE corner of the campus?"

"7 Mary 3, we've got a situation here in the student lounge. Come in. . . "

All you want is to make the cat curious enough to respond . . and that's it. She texts back, "blah, blah, blah . . ."

And you're all set. You call her RIGHT BACK. She can't ignore your call because . . . no . . . that would be impolite. She knows that you know that she's got her phone right in her hand. (By the way, if she still doesn't pick up. Get rid of her. I don't care how shy she is. This is no excuse to be so rude that she ignores the phone call from a guy she knows that he knows that she's holding the phone RIGHT in her HAND!)

When she picks up, you just go waaay under the sexual radar and just treat her like your little sister. . . Chit chat a short bit and go, "Hey, there's this ______ going on this weekend. I think it's going to be a lot of fun. Let's check it out."

Done.

she's probably holding back coz she has a boyfriend but obviously likes you. if she's not answering your texts or calls, go up to her and start talking. she's just waiting you know.. look her in the eye and ask her out
