Hey I have had a successful number close gaming my Hair Stylist even if my game was a bit sloppy. Aside from getting the number she asked for facebook/myspace contact. She seemed to be showing allot of obvious IOI's from the start. Comforted and moved around the venue (salon), showed social proof, stimulated a few emotions and then got the time constraint wall.

Here is my problem:
When I got the number I told her I would call her Monday when she was off work. I txt'd her that same day at around 9pm (after she got off work). Dished a half neg, I would say it was more of a sarcasm talk.

Me: "That movie you recommended sucked. Its all your fault Kristen!"
HB: "Aw. Don't tell me that. I was really hoping it wouldn't."
Me: "Ha Im teasing. It was good enough to see twice. Im at a party right now, i g2g get waisted. Real quick you should meet me at the mall on monday, icecream is always good i want to see it again if your down."

I did not get any response from her after that conversation. I was wondering if you could tell me what might have happened here. I think it had something to do with the text opener neg but what ever it is please share.

Well I think you just should've said you were at a party. When a girl asks where I'am over txts I just go into it briefly, cause later when I meet up with them they ask cause they don't know. Then you can tease them by saying I'm not telling, blah blah.

Maybe you sounded to demanding where to meet up?

Or even more likely cause, your txt didn't go through. Cause I don't see any major flaws. Or she got carried away and didn't answer.

It definitely wasn't the opener since she responded.

However, you should have left out "I am at a party, time to get wasted" part.

In fact you should have teased her a bit more. Then told her you want to see her again...is Monday good? (for most working people Monday isnt a good day)

I think you blew it up when you told her about the date. It kinda feels cocky a little. Never use sarcasm on a girl even if its playful specially when the girl is not in that kind of talk. there are girls who can be sarcastic and so can you so you end up hooking up. You can tell by the way they text..

this is way too long.. keep reading this text.. i don't know.. maybe i will be the only one who would think this.. but it sounds desperate.. trying too hard! and don't think this is the problem she didn't reply (maybe it is.. but don't over think it.. another lesson learned) i say that you're acting too cool by adding "I g2g get wasted"

I would've reword what you said..


"Well it did.. now you gotta treat me for some ice cream on Monday"

I mean it's not the best.. but at least you could get something out of her.. if she's busy on Monday or not... or another text..
