Im stumped Im into this girl we tried dating about 5 months ago but she got stressed to the fact i dated her freind for 5 years (yea its crazy) but anyways she has recently started talking to me again but i just dont know how i can help her get past the fact i did date her friend any help would be greatly appreciated

WTF ! If she isn't willing to look past that point then move on.

I mean if you guys even start dating she will bring it up. I've been there and the only way I got passed that was if we made a promise to let the past be the past.

Do you talk about her friend much? at all even? I would try to avoid the subject or like maximus said, agree to leaving the past in the past. If she brings it up, try changing the subject completely, distract her with an activity? Basically try and ignore it in the hopes she will forget/get over it.
That's my two cents anyway, it's probably not 100% right...
