texting is a great form of communication and shitty form of communication at the same time. On one hand, I'm notorious for thinking of the perfect thing to say 2 seconds too late, but on the other hand an easy out of the conversation is to not respond. So when trying to keep the conversation going, it's hard to make everything open ended.

This girl I'm talking to and I have been having a text conversation over the last few days, and it's gotten pretty heated, at one point she even asked If I'd masturbated to her before to which i replied, "I only masturbate to myself". I've been to her place, And we've hung out casually a couple times And It was OBVIOUS that she wanted me to pull the trigger, but she is in a long distance relationship and even though she wanted me too, might've resisted on account of the BF. But the most recent conversation went like this

HB9: I Hate School (college)
Me: Likewise... Only a week left
HB9: Yes, But lots of homework
(About ten minutes later)
Me: How's that homework working out for you?
HB9: It's not...
Me: Great. that mean's we're hanging out tomorrow

This was at about midnight last night. and It's about 12 hours later no response

How do you keep the text convo going?

Only advice I can say is be more sexual if u want to f-close. If she asked if u had masturbated to her you should have said you "You would if you actually masturbated." or "It's impossible for me not to."

definately a good sticky. lots of good stuff. I guess what I want to know is how to re-initiate a conversation via text after she's flaked on responding. It's been 12 hours since she texted me, this morning I sent her a text that said "OK, fine I agree with you... doing work is overrated" and still no response. How do you re-initiate chat without being that weird creepy guy thatt texts you constantly.

Ok, here are some tipps for you:

1. Time

Be spontaneous. Sometimes 6 hours later, sometimes 30min, sometimes 1min. If you are busy, then keep doing what you are focused in this moment. Just don't think about it like "Oh, should I wait now or not?!"


2. Only answer texts that are beneficial towards escalating the interaction.

If she writes sth like “I saw you flirting with XXX yesterday...?” Don’t respond.

Its not going to the right direction. Just pretend it never happened, wait a few days and follow suit as if you never received the negative text. Don't make a big deal out of it.


3. Lead the interaction in a sexual direction

If it fits, write: “You don’t even want to know what I am thinking of doing to you right now.”

Future adventure projections and misinterpretation...

Texting can be very helpful, you have time to think, before you reply.

so you txted an reply 12 hrs late? You should have started a completely different subject. doesn't surprise me that she didn't answer that.

Easiest answer is don't. At least for a day or more. Just find other things to do and think about and forget about her for awhile. After a day or more, send something casual, like 'Boo!' and I'm sure she will reply. then go from there.

If you txt her too much without her replying, it stops mattering what u say.


(Unless you flood them with txts. I did that once. It seemed to kinda work cause you are just being an asshole and not afc but I don't recommend it)
