hey guys im not new to the forums but have a very important question. Now its said that pua should use magic to help part of their game now i used to do magic before i got into the game but then stopped. Im 17 and i want to perform some effects for my friends and the girls we chill with that will blow their mind but im afraid is like in school once i do it people will label me as the magic guy and the magic kid and i dont want that because i want to entertain them not because magic is a huge part of my lfie. Having said that do you feel its smart not to do it for the fact that i could be labeled as the magic kid or do you think it will really benefit me?

If you enjoy performing magic, then why not perform magic? I also performed magic before I got into pickup, and yes, you will get a label in school for it. I've heard the statement, "Duuude, you're that one kid that does that trick thingy with the quarter... and then it's gone!" like a million times. Use it to your advantage. It's just more social proof for you. Random people will come up to you and open, and after the trick, move into your material.

Mystery doesn't even do magic for this exact same reason.

Besides, using magic instead of working on yourself as a man is a bullshit cop out. It's really an outdated method of "game". If you aspire to be David Blane or Chriss Angel then cool. Otherwise, leave the deck of cards at the house.

1. Relax. You can do what ever you want to do.

2. If you want to do magic to entertain your friends, why are you posting in a PUA site? Get your priorities straight and at least ADMIT to yourself that you are doing magic to GET LAID! If you do not even admit this to yourself, what's the point?

3. Since #2 is clear, stay the hell away from long, drawn out magic tricks that take for ever to do. Stay away from tricks that force you to go up on a "stage"(in front of the whole crowd) to accomplish.

4. Go for quick interactive tricks that bring you closer to your target audience and allows you to kino naturally.

5. One or two for laughs is good enough. Don't get stuck up there "entertaining" your guests like some freak circus clown. You did it, you've got their emotions lifted, now transition her/their curiosity for the trick to attraction for you.
