Posts: 106 | | How do you create deeper connections with someone when you're in light conversation with them? I was gaming this girl in my class, but something happened, I'm not sure what, and she went cold on me. I think it was the phone call I made to her. I was too nervous calling her and I wasn't very friendly on the phone. But I think if I had made some deeper connections with her in class then she would have forgiven me, I don't know. I'm so frustrated by this.

Location: UK | | I don't think the classroom is the best place to be trying to build rapport, there will be too many distractions and you should in theory be doing atleast some work. You would be better off doing it at lunch or a break. Then you have to chat to her and find out things no one else knows, like chat about her ambitions and childhood.
Also a us vs them type thing usually works a charm for creating a connection. But with all of this you need to lead into it unless you are mehow.
