I live on a tropical island in paradise. Really I do!

I'm here for a year and I work as a lawyer for the island state. I started at the same time as another attorney - HB5.5.

There is a very small ex-pat community here to game, but there are a few HB's in the group. The problem is HB5.5 really, really dislikes me --- she has thrust herself into the middle of the ex-pat community and she has pushed me out by including the expats in her social affairs (parties where she buys the booze, dinners where she cooks for the others, things like that), and excluding me.

I think she has pushed me out because she sees me as competition. She is either a-sexual or lesbian, whatever it is, she shows no interest in heterosexual men. So she sees me as competition for her friends.

I like hanging out with the expats - but there is no angle left that does not involve her. I don't mind hanging out with her - but I get a chilling vibe whenever I'm around her. I'm getting AMOGed by a chick!!!

Normally, I would simply tell her to piss off and find other friends, but there are no other ex-pats here. The problem is I work with her and see her around all the time.

If I run into her with the expats at the bar I ignore her, but I perceive that I have a low social value because she is always around, always doing her best to keep me away from her friends. My perceptions handicap my game.

I've never been in a social situation like this before!

My plan now is to avoid to expat bar and try to meet more of the local island girls. Around them I can be a superstar lawyer again. Eskwire rocks!

Is there anything to do the remedy the situation with the expats?
