i #closed this girl last weekend. she is from my town but goes away to school in PA. she was home for the holiday we talked and been shootin text back and forth a few days since then.

well a good friend of mine also goes to school there and he invited me to come out and trip (idk if i can reference this). so at the beginning of the week i told this chick i might be comin, never said yes. so now its friday, where texts me.

Her: Coming
Her: Are
Her: Tommorow
Me: wait who's cumming?
Her: ur gross (shit test 1)
Me: i get out of work at 7 and am driving up after that. (try to brush it off and change the subject)
Her: ur still gross for saying that (shit test 2)
Me: don't flatter urself hun, i wanted to hang out wit you before i was going to trip. i only like girls with a sense of humor.

now was that insulting? a little too gross? idk i thought it would have been kinda funny and i thought if you wanted to eventually f-close you had to make sexual references. idk. tell me wher ei went wrong so i can fix it for next time.

with text game, whenever you make a lil joke like that, girls usually freak and go "omg wtf!". my technique to stop this is at the end of each of those either put or :s. i personally prefer but still use :s to give it some variety otherwise she'll think your borin. i call it "teen text" (TT)

Yeah. When you're texting a girl, you are depriving yourself of an important aspect of the game, and that's the vocal delivery. Girls apply whatever they feel is most justified in terms of delivery to whatever you're saying, or mean. Like if my girlfriend was in a giddy mood, the text "Ok." wouldn't upset her. But if she feels ignored or wants attention or is upset already, that same text, just two letters and a punctuation is infuriating. You HAVE to add some stuff that helps swing just letters on a phone into a delivery that works to your advantage. If you're serious, that text would have been fine. That's why you got the 'gross' response. You have to use a lot of 'lols' and smileys like ":D" ":]" ";p" to make it funny and cocky and not pressuring and serious. Just don't say that you're kidding, or that you're sorry. And I'm kinda taking this part from Ciaran, you DO NOT apologize for your words, actions, or feelings if you push it too far. Just apologize for the disrespect, cut thread, and move on. Hope this helps mate. <-- see that? lol

she's been asking me if was coming out for sure all week. i told her i was yesterday so she knows that i am coming. she also downloaded "Loopt" on my iphone, which for those of you who don't know is an application that pinpoints the location of your "friends" via GPS. so basically shell know when ill be on the road driving out there, all she has to do is look at her phone. really stalkerish i know.

my question is should i just leave it alone for the rest of the day and see if she texts me to hang out. she already knows I'm coming so im not gonna bring it up again. or should i hit her up see what the deal is. i was more leaning towards just letting it be and see what happens.

remember I'm going out there to see my friend, not her.

i'd leave it for a day, maybe 2 and let her text you, if she doesnt after 2 days, then text her around 9 on the 3rd day and she should be glad to hear from you
