i think i look damn good in my shades, but would wearing them mess with seductive eye contact?

Wow, that's an interesting question to pose. On one hand some people know how to pick out the right pair of shades and look good in them, and some don't. You don't have that problem so...

When I was in vehicle sales for several years we had a rule about salespeople wearing their sunglasses on the carlot with a customer. The idea with sales was that if you are blocking your eyes with shades then you are hiding something. Much like professional poker players do to avoid their opponents getting a read on them. Eye contact is a huge part of body language.

If you do not allow her to see your eyes it could hurt you. I'm not saying that it would make every attempted pick up unsuccessful but subconciously it's not helping you. Women especially watch men's body language as they talk to see what else they are saying, and if what is coming out of their mouth is congruent. And we all know how good eye contact can help you.

Most of the guys I know that are really good with Day Game don't wear them. I can't say if that intentional or not.

It's your call as always. If you can get results with them on, then don't worry much about it. IF you aren't getting the results you want with getting numbers, gaining isolation, or that type of thing then I'd go without them. At the very least during the intial few minutes of the approach remove them.

well, at some point, takign off the shades would just boost the game on a girl you're at the point of seducing by:

1. subcommunicating that you're letting her in
2. allowing for seductive eye contact

thanks guys. i have a day 2 with a girl today so i think ill wear the shades for only few min(driving?) so she can see me look my best but taking them off because keeping them on would make the interaction pretty impersonal

another thougth would be to keep em up on your head... and just use it as an opener...

like.. hey what do you think about this pair of shades ... blah blah...
then pop em back up


or run an opinion opener off of what Jsmooth was talking about.. walk up to a girl with them on and ask.. hey.. is it more personal, trustworthy, blah blah to talk to youwith these shades on.. or take em off.. and as you do just pop em up and hit her dead on with some crazy eye contact.

i wore shades too and the girls were curious to see my eyes..... so if anytihng it makes them wonder about you more ....my personal experience

I get the same thing, wearing shades indoors especially makes people wanna see your eyes, I think of it as a sort of peacocking.
