Alright, so I got her number and we've been texting and she hits me with this:

Her: Ewww you're so cocky. Hahah grosss

Me: Is that a compliment? hahah we just met and you're trying to change me already. Talk about moving fast.

Her: Hahahah no I'm not trying to change anyone



How am I supposed to respond to that?

First off..as I said in one of my other posts, text game, as well as fbook and IM, is risky because messages can get confused. You may be totally kidding, but the other person at the end of the line might think youre serious. So I recomment avoiding the texting. Stick with a phone call.

However, her saying this can be difficult. She may be kidding or serious, and you wont know. She may have taken some of your comments literally or the wrong way.

My advice is to call her as opposed to texting. She'll hear your smile and laugh on the phone.

I really don't understand the problem. She didn't "hit" you with anything.

If you want a breakdown:
She was teasing you that you're too cocky, so you teasingly accused her of trying to change you, and then she defended herself and was trying to hint that she was teasing with her previous statement.

no biggie, just continue your conversation. change the subject if you want to. It really doesn't matter.
