So I was at a club on Friday night, and my AFC friend said we should have a bet on who pulls first. The loser buys the winner a jaegerbomb or something stupid like that. Anyway, I K-closed this HB and looked over to him to see if he had k-closed yet. He hadn't so I stupidly said to him "I win".
About 5mins later the girl I kissed came steaming up to me and said "What, am I some sort of fucking bet to you?" I swear to god I thought I was going to get backhanded there and then! Apparently some girl heard me saying that to my mate.

So I reckon I want to meet her again but I haven't spoken to her since. Is there anyway I can salvage this? Like pass it off as a joke or something?

the only thing I can think of is to tell the girl you saw her in the club and told your buddy that if you didnt go talk to that girl you had to buy him a shot... annd you were so excited that your buddy bought you one.

or some line on that... probably wont work but its an attempt

Well you could always lie and tell her the 'I win.' was meant for something else.

I'd personally take this head on and tell her that yeah, it was a bet, but you didn't choose a girl at random. You were going to talk to her even if no bet had been made. It could make things easier, and if not, move on. You might not get the girl, but you get some wisdom.
