Um... dont they do call metrics and like record your calls???

I would wager that it wouldnt go well hitting on a customer and trying to get a number over the phone... but maybe thats just me...

I would mirror what Ezo commented on another thread about gaming at work...

exactly! there too much risk factors.. well if you really don't care about your job then go ahead.. but i don't think it's a good idea anyways.. since you actually don't see the person.. how they look like and facial expressions wise... i would suggest just try and give great customer service.. and let the conversation takes its course.. you don't really need to do any routines here and negs.. especially negs! no C&F.. nothing... just keep the conversation going by doing small talks..

I'm going to echo the previous statements here. I know FealinLucky has worked in a call center and I work in one presently. They monitor record, and spot check calls in most places. It's not a good idea to do this if you want to keep your job.

Plus, you are going to have to consider if you get fired you won't be able to use this place as a good reference for the future. Not to mention you are usually asked why you left a place you were employed on most job applications. Not good to write "hitting on the customers."

Anyways, there are too many bad variables playing against you including you can't see the customer's expression. I have thought about doing stuff as well but ultimately it's just not a good idea. Focus on meeting people through conventional means in person.
