How do you refer to a previous partner that you didn't actually "go out" with?

"My last....girl" I don't want to say girlfriend as we didn't go out.

partner?
fling?
woman?

Ok so you wanna say is casual, fuck buddy, or friend with benefits.

If those are too forward then simply refer to them as your friend.
