So I'm sure everyone has experienced that a thousand times. You are talking to a girl, and suddenly she opens her phone and start texting God knows who saying Go knows what. Personally I find that very rude, but anyway. I realize it is in some sense a IOD, but not a big one, no? So does anyone has a good thing to say when this happens?

Also, more generally, is there any good opener for a girl who is texting on her own, this happens all the time too. A girl is bored doesn't matter at what bar/clubs/whatever, and she starts texting because she s bored. So in principle, it should be pretty easy to start gaming her (if she s bored she is asking for it), but I cannot find any good opener for that. Anyone?

I would find a girl starting to text MASSIVELY rude if you are talking to her. If it does happen, make her pay for it so depending on your relationship to her either neg or c&f comment.

if you see a girl in a bar alone texting she is probably waiting for someone. Obviously depending on your estimation of the actual situation (does she look like she was waiting for a date, did her friends just go to the toilet or somewhere etc..) there is quite a few thing you could say to get her attention. Depending on your bodylanguage anything from:

*sarcastic* I'm sure he's gonna come, hehe *shouldertouch*

to

Gosh, you have to teach me how to type so fast on a phone!

will work.

If she is alone in a club ask her if she lost her friends... but when you say that be sure that you have some of your friends around you and then make her enter the group and tell her she should hang out with you and you ll help her find her friends again.

they are not the best ways true, but works for me.

I'd come in with a situational opener.

I'd say something like:

Hey give me an opinion. You reckon texting someone to break up with them is acceptable? Coz I've got a mate who did this...blah blah...
Then tell her about this girl you met last week and how you're conscious about this and don't text much, hence disqualifying yourself.

If a girl is constantly texting when you're talking to her, get rid of her. Tell her it was nice talking to her but you're gonna go find someone with no credit to talk to!

Oh man I had a chick do this to me. Completely rude in my opinion.

I had already F-closed her a few weekends back and I met her out at the pub. She IOI'd me straight away. Then another IOI. And another. Then she isolated me (man I have it easy sometimes).

So I was sitting on a lounge talking to her and she gets her phone out and starts msging and completely ignoring me. Then she's like sorry about that, then she does it again and again. So I get pissed off with her and tell her that she's being rude. Then she does it again so I told her that I was sorry for interrupting her texting session and got up and left.

Stupid girl must be used to having guys who would sit there and take her shit. Fuck that.

I started talking to another group of girls so she could still see me. My phone starts ringing and it is her, so I just give her a kind of wave across the bar.

I talked to her some more then I made up my mind that she was completely crazy and not worth a minute of my time.

Ok just had an idea.

Get your phone out and start texting! Then ask her if it's too harsh to break up with a girl just by sending a text.

Actually that s a good one I agree: to start texting and asks her if it is too harsh to break up by sms. However, I m sure she ll do the same as usual: say "hmmm" finish texting quickly and then say:"Oh I m sorry, what were you saying" (Fuck that). I think the best thing to do is try to use this "I m sorry against her" by saying as you suggest that she is being rude. However, you cannot just say that to someone you trying to pick up, no? I mean I don t see my self talking to a girl, and tell her :You know what, it s kind of rude what you r doing with your phone". Do you guys to it just like that?
