my friend is hosting a speed dating event at a lounge. i never done speed dating before so ima guess i have a few minutes to attract the other person i meet. i looked up a few things about speed dating and have stuff in mind. anyone have tips in mind? things i should say or do or whatever? thanks guys.

u have 3 minutes, the golden pickup time, to impress the targets, size the room up, how many girls are u expected to sit with?

Say maybe 10.... have 2 different openers and relevant hooks for conversation and alternate them woman by woman, that way the girl sitting next to u will never hear u using the same line because u would of alternated it, u can do this for the whole room.

Groom well, go in a decent shirt/jean/suit jacket combo, maybe a pocket scarf for peacocking and then just unleash the charm.

I love speedating its such a good oppurtunity to practice material for the field, as its a closed environment and every1 goes with the intention of meeting sum1 usually, it can make it more competitive than say in just a usual bar where some people go for fun, some are couple etc. the good thing with s.d is that every1 technically should be single and usually local, u wudnt go s'ding in a city 100 miles away would u lol
