This is why M3 has lost some credibility here. It's so rigid that as soon as something changes, there's a moment of 'whadoIdo' that has been known to throw everything off.
Most of the time in a situation like this you can skip right to where you WOULD be when she starts asking questions. It's an IOI, she wants to know more about you. Or, depending on the line of questioning, it could be suspicion, but unless they're very defensive questions this is unlikely.
Maybe look at some other methods too, vary your style a bit.
