OK, I've been lurking for a while, but couldn't find this anywhere.

What is the best way for me to go about building attraction with a girl i haven't seen in a long time? example, last night, I'm at a club/bar and I see this girl I haven't seen since senior year HS (we're juniors in college now). We were friends peripherally in HS, I was the "star athlete" w/e and she was like the valedictorian, hot chick type.

I was talking to this one girl, and I saw her walk behind me, so I like stuck out my leg to tap her and she stopped to turn around to look at me, and stared for like 3 seconds, like totally clueless, then she gets this huge smile and like yells "oh my god!" blah,. blah, blah, like I thought it was an instant IOI. But then I kinda froze, told her everything was f-ing great with me and she seemed kinda tipsy. I then just have her a hug, told her it was t good to see her (AFC!!) and I'd see her later.

I obviously had this great opportunity given to me, I didn't even have to make it happen, and I blew it.

What could/ should i have done, and is there anything else I can do now (I have her on FB, etc.)? Thanks guys. I'm glad I found this forum. Books are good, but live discussions are clutch.
