Guys,

I recently posted on here about a girl I have been trying to game. She is in a class of mine in college and I thought she was very cute so we ended up talking after a class one day and it was pleasant enough...a few days later we even ended up dancing together at this bar. So things seemed to be going okay until a totally strange and so far unexplainable thing happened recently.

So I see her at the library and go up and try to make small talk and for whatever reason she basically blows me off and acts like I'm some homeless beggar asking for money...it was a huge blow to my confidence. I had literally not done anything wrong or inappropriate that I could think of to draw a reaction like that. Then came the kicker which went down last night...

I'm at the local campus bar last night with some friends and we're shooting a little pool. Everyone is having a nice time and I see this girl again...she is with her friends. So I tell myself this is a perfect opportunity to talk to her and maybe get a reason for why she blew me off. So I go up to her and say "Hey Liz." I'm met with the same insane non-reaction as I had gotten before, except this one is even worse because she clearly sees me and turns away and acts like I didn't even exist. Her facial expression didn't register anger or anything...it just seemed like talking to me would give her the plague or something. She didn't even respond!

So at this point I am confused beyond belief and pissed...I take a step towards her and tell her point blank that she is the rudest person I ever met and then just leave. I'm glad I left at that point because I'm afraid I would've said something I really would've regretted. I mean I can take a hint as well as the next guy but for her to not even say get away but instead just totally ignore me- I'm speechless!

This has literally never happened to me before and I'm wondering if any of you guys have an insight on this. I mean last week she was friendly with me and then this week she treats me like I am nothing. To tell you the truth I have lost interest for her but am looking for some closure and more importantly some answers. I doubt I'll try talking to her again because it's clear that she has made up her mind to totally ignore me. Even my friends who were there with me were confused.

Any thoughts...?

it happened after you guys went to bar ... did you get drunk and did something that you dont remember now .... i once was grinding with this girl .. my first time. anywayz i didnt know how to grind .like hand position .. i ended up grabbind her chest through the dance

she ignored me the rest of the party .. her friends were givin me a weird look .. at school i tried talking to girls friend about her .. she IGNORED me and spread rumors .. BITCH

You should have told her hair looks like shit! lol They hate that. Im jk of course. Ya chicks can be frustrating from time to time. Just remember that you shouldnt take it personally. Some will like you, some wont, who gives a fuck? Your best bet is to talk to a bunch of other chicks and forget about her. Shes not worth your worry. Too many girls out there to be concerned about any one of them in particular.

More to the point, you failed her shit test in the library. You gotta call these chicks out on their bullshit right off the bat or they will walk all over you. No offense, but when you guys chit-chatted after class, you probably came of as a chump, or in her mind, not worthy of her. If you were solid, she would have been at the very, very least cordial in the library. She could been under some pressure?

Then, when you went out and approached her, you probably didn't open with anything aside from a greeting, which made you look even more extra chumpish.

I think your down fall was assuming that she liked you after class when she was probably was just being polite. Bottom line, fuck it and move on. You'll be better because of this, in fact, you should be thanking her for being a cunt. I know I am happy to meet all the girls that *try* to shit on me now a days. Only makes you stronger. Thanks man yeah I think you're right. I did open with cheesy fluff talk in the library and didn't really use material on her ever. I'm still pretty new with pick up and really don't have a ton of game right now (in case you couldn't tell). I still am working on incorperating canned stuff and dhv into my initial convos with girls. That being said I wasn't ready for her reaction...or non-reaction I should say.

So this leads me to my next question. Is there any room for fluff talk with a girl when you first meet her or do you usually focus on using material? My worry is that I don't want to sound rehearsed but like you said swoop I think I came off as a chump...that's the only way I can explain this one.

IMO.. girl was giving you a shit test.. as you may not know.. females give out shit test until the very end.. when you think you are in the clear.. defenses are down... because you think you did everything right.. got some IOIs.. got a lil bump and grind.. you think she likes you.. and definitely you like her!.. then here comes the shit test.. blowing you off! freezing you out! NOW WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?!..

i say.. the problem was you going up to her at the library.. i would've stayed cool.. both of you had a fun night.. if you build enough comfort with her.. she would've come up to you in the library.. (unless she was really busy... but still.. she would've come up and say hi) having that confidence that you made HER better than she was before.. should be enough to keep in mind that you don't need to come up to her.. IMO..

i'm not saying that the other's advice is wrong.. i'm only stating other parts that could also be true... learn from the mistakes!

Now, as far as the local campus bar is concerned, the last thing you should have done is approach her to find out why she blew you off. The only thing you did was dig your hole deeper.

What you should have done is ignored her and continue to have a good time with your friends. I know you were itching to find out what her deal was, but if this happens again, try to resist the temptation.

Confidence Crushed...that title bothers me. I came across this quote the other day...'nobody can make you feel inferior without your permission'. Something to think about, happy hunting...
