So I've started speaking to this girl over facebook chat, she's a fashion model and I haven't met her in person (although judging from her profile she isn't some fat bald guy pretending)... Anyway, due to her being a 10 and her having a career to prove it, her ego must be through the roof...

I've been asking lots of questions, putting in a few minor negs ('the lifestyle seems like it must get a bit shallow at times') while trying not to be too like "OMG WOW UR A MODEL"... However, I seem to be doing ALL the work, as in I ask a question, she answers and doesn't return the favour. Out of quite a long conversation, she didn't ask me a single question about myself, just responded to my questions really. I would normally say that's a sign she's completely uninterested, but she still answered the questions rather than just ignoring them (unless she's just trying to be polite), and at the end of the conversation she was like 'anyway i've gtg talk later x', although again that could just be politeness.

It's hard in a 1-1 conversation over the internet, but how do I get her to start showing interest in me and start asking ME questions, cause so far it's all been about her... I appreciate any advice.

She isn't high-fashion. I can almost promise you that. They almost never use facebook or myspace. Only reason they get such accounts is because some gay photographer has one and they want in his good graces. Almost all of them use regional social networking sites as their main sites. Russian, Latvian, Estonian, Lithuanian, Polish, Czech, and Bulgarian language sites. Learn a language like Estonian and you will be Jesus to many beautiful girls. NOBODY learns Estonian. If you try learning it you will know why! Hell, I will get in bed with you if you can learn it.

Most do modeling for a fashion season or two and retire by the time they are 17 years of age. It isn't like what you see on TV reality shows. It is a crappy business for them. They almost all date MUCH older men.

Your first Estonian language lesson  Trust me. It isn't a joke. I swear. Funniest thing is that you hear more Russian than Estonian spoken in most of Tallinn.

She doesn't have any reason to ask you questions. You may have not piqued her interest enough. I would say, forget all the questions about HER. Use the current topic to transition into some stories about the guy who was trying to start a fight with you, or about how you barley landed a crazy high jump on your dirt bike. The point is, she doesn't need to ask you about your life (and probably won't most of the time). You have to take charge, lead the conversation.

I don't know what context this neg was used in so I could be completely wrong, but it seems like a bit of a buzz kill. Your trying to heighten emotions, not throw a wet blanket on them.

Keep trying. If she still doesn't show interest. Burn it, and start fresh with a new girl. Good luck!

That's the problem - the only current topic is the one I bring up. She isn't being very talkative and answers what I ask, no more, no less. The only way the conversation will lead into landing a jump on a dirt bike is if I bring it up, and wouldn't that come off like boasting? If someone I didn't know brought up randomly how they landed a crazy jump and we weren't already speaking about extreme sports or something related, I'd think they were just looking for attention rather than be impressed.
