Well you didn't provide a lot of information in your post. So all I can talk about is generalities.

Fact is, break-ups happen all the time. No big deal at all.

I can think of only angle on this one since I don't know a lot.

I'd skip the wussie phone call. This ought to be handled face to face and for a reason. When she sees you again, she's gonna make an instant assessment if she's still attracted to you. If the spark is still there and you got that big smile going, you're gonna be in like flynn. Now's the time to really turn the charm and confidence on.

The only way you can ruin it is by getting weird about the whole thing. You not gonna fix what happened, you just got to show her a bunch of fun stuff she can look forward to in the future.

So skip the "lamer" convo, grab your gal, and take her to do her most fun, favorite thing. The "let's talk about it" thing ruins everything.

Secondly, theres a reason you broke up, regardless of how bad you feel about it. I guess if you're hell bent on getting back with this chick, then you're going to explain why you broke up with her in the first place, and it's going to take awhile for her to feel comfortable again
