Hi all

I've been chatting to a HB9 for some time online. She's a single mum and I know that she doesn't have much help for her son so we agreed to meet up for a coffee with her son as well. This doesn't bother me as I have kids and they generally like me.

So we met up for a coffee but her son was in effect quite a cockblock as i couldn't get much conversation going before he's interrupt (he's 2). So I'd start a DHV story and for example he'd shout or spill something etc.

I think i made a mistake next because I asked what she was doing tonight and she replied "Same as usual." meaning sitting at home on her own with her son watching TV. So I asked if her parents might have her son so we could go out. She replied that it was too short notice so I suggested that they both came round to place and I'd cook. She said "Can we make it another time? <pause> I don't mind if your kids are there as well"

So anyway, eventually we left and I gave her a hug and said I'd call.

Any thoughts on what I should do next? Is she even interested? I went on a date earlier this week with a HB7 and it went so much better. Today i felt like a total AFC. Her son being there totally complicated things so I can't 100% tell how things went.
